Privacy notice
What we collect, and why
Motion Index is run by LootStudio Inc., a Delaware corporation based in Tokyo, Japan. This notice covers this website and the private forms we send to companies we speak with.
Enquiry form
If you use “Tell us about your company”, we store your company name, your name, your business email, an optional website, the time you sent it, and the fact that you agreed to be contacted. We save it as soon as you press the button, before you pick a time. We use it only to reply to your enquiry. We send no newsletters and do not sell or rent this information.
The estimate calculator
The numbers you enter stay in your browser. They are not sent to us or saved.
Booking a call
Picking a time opens a scheduling page from Calendly. Calendly receives what you enter there under its own privacy terms.
Company questionnaires
If we send you a private questionnaire link, your answers are saved on our server as you type, tied to your company, so you can close the page and return. A copy is also kept in your browser until it has been saved. Anyone with the link can see and edit those answers, so please share it only with colleagues who should help.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and a few actions on this site (page views, using the calculator, saving the enquiry form, booking or skipping a call). It sets cookies and sends data to Google. We do not send the contents of any form or your calculator inputs. To opt out, use a browser setting or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Where data is kept
The site runs on Vercel, and enquiries and questionnaires are stored in a managed PostgreSQL database (Neon). Access is limited to a small number of people on our team.
Deleting or correcting your data
Send a request through the contact form on our home page, or reply to any email we have sent you, and we will delete or correct what we hold about you or your company. We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to follow up.
